Isabeau & George | A Winter Wedding at DuVon, Robertson
There is something wonderfully romantic about a winter wedding in the Robertson Valley. The softer light, the changing colours of the vineyards and the mountains creating a dramatic backdrop all came together beautifully for Isabeau and George’s wedding at DuVon.
Their celebration was elegant and timeless, with a classic palette of black, white and soft, natural tones. Isabeau looked effortlessly beautiful in her simple off-the-shoulder wedding gown, while George complemented her perfectly in a classic black suit with a delicate floral boutonnière.
One of my favourite parts of the day was taking the newlyweds into the vineyards for their portraits. The vines were dressed in deep burgundy and autumnal tones, creating a beautiful contrast against Isabeau’s white gown and George’s dark suit. With the Robertson mountains glowing in the late afternoon light behind them, it was the perfect setting for photographs that feel both romantic and distinctly connected to the place they chose to celebrate their marriage.
There was an understated elegance to Isabeau and George’s wedding — nothing competing with the beauty of the landscape or, more importantly, with the couple themselves. The quiet moments, the laughter and the joy of being surrounded by the people they love made the day feel incredibly special.
DuVon in Robertson provided the perfect backdrop for the beginning of this next chapter in Isabeau and George’s story.
It was an absolute pleasure to document their wedding day and to preserve these memories for them to return to for years to come. Click here to view the gallery.
