I grew up in the beautiful hills of Durbanville surrounded by vineyards and breathtaking mountain ranges.

I have been a creative my entire life. I am an artist at heart and I am most at ease with my camera in my hand.

With over a decade of experience in wedding photography, I’ve had the privilege of capturing hundreds of love stories across South Africa. Over the years, I’ve honed a style that blends cinematic artistry with genuine emotion, creating images that are timeless, natural, and full of atmosphere. Each wedding I photograph is treated with care and attention, ensuring that every moment — from the quiet, intimate glances to the big, joyful celebrations — is beautifully preserved.

I’m a relaxed and approachable photographer, and making my clients feel at ease is at the heart of what I do. I believe the best images come from real moments, not posed perfection, so I focus on guiding and supporting couples in a way that feels natural and effortless. From laughter-filled portraits to spontaneous, heartfelt interactions, my goal is always to create an experience that is as memorable and enjoyable as the day itself.

Darren and I aren’t people who love posing for photos, and we really wanted candid moments. The posed shots we did do, never felt awkward or forced. It was rapid-fire in the best way. Efficient, relaxed, and never taking time away from actually celebrating with our people.

I believe it was Bjorn’s first time shooting at our specific venue but you’d never have known. He went completely with the flow, and not once did he seem stressed or thrown off. There wasn’t a single moment where we felt rushed or overwhelmed.

I didn’t have a clear vision for the photos beforehand and being the pedantic person I am, I wanted to find inspiration and send a mood board, but got overwhelmed by the to-do list and never did, and I’m so glad. I’m in love with the photos, He absolutely nailed the vibe without needing direction.

The photos are vibrant, full of life, and packed with genuinely candid, special moments. Looking through them feels like reliving the day exactly as it was, natural, joyful, and us."
